Swedish:
Swedish massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being. Swedish massage, is the most common form of massage therapy in the United States. Massage therapists use long, smooth strokes, and kneading movements, focused on surface layers of muscles using massage oil or lotion.
Deep tissue:
Deep Tissue massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fiber's of the muscles, tendons and fascia.
Deep tissue massage is used to release chronic muscle tension through slower strokes and more direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles not with the grain. Deep tissue massage helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue. Deep tissue massage usually focuses on more specific areas and may cause some soreness during or right after the massage. However, if the massage is done correctly you should feel better than ever within a day or two.
Bamboo- Fusion:
Is a relaxing massage that uses warm bamboo tools to sweep over muscles, deeply kneading them to loosen up. I include this style of massage with every session. So far 99% of my clientele prefer the bamboo over a hot stone massage.
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy:
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy: Is also known as "the deepest massage on the planet!" Essentially its a massage preformed smoothly with the feet as over head parallel wooden bars provide balance as I work. This session can be modified for light pressure or to the very deep.
